Bohemian Luxury was a project created to explore the rendering software, Enscape, through Revit, the 2D and 3D plan software. All plans, elevations, sections, and reflected ceiling plans were constructed in Revit.
This project consisted of a 950 square foot floor open plan that was created into an apartment. It includes a full kitchen, living room, balcony, master bedroom, and bathroom with a closet inside.
The location was hypothetically in Oaxaca, Mexico overlooking the bay. The design concept incorporates both luxurious, simplified shapes and forms, and the natural textures and patterns of Mexico.

This project focused on a commercial building suitable for students with ADHD. We were to create engaging as well as educational environments throughout the entire building. Colors, textures, and materials were chosen adequately in order to not overstimulate the students.
Color theory was used in each of these spaces. In places where collaboration and more engagement is needed, warm colors are used like in the Innovation Center. In places where focus and quieter engagement is needed, cool colors are used like in the Kindergarten Classroom. A mixture of both warm and cool colors are used in areas where the space is versatile and can be used for collaboration or head down space. Studies have proven that different colors reflect different emotions and behaviors in people.
Anthropometrics and ergonomics were also a very important aspect for this project. It was crucial to have the furniture made to fit every student. Many of the tables in different areas are height-adjustable. Areas like the Music Room have seats that provide support to the diaphragm in order to sing better. Risers were designed to mimic the way students were to stand for a concert. The first row of chairs starts on ground level. This was done in order to include students with disabilities such as students in wheelchairs. No one is excluded from the learning environment.
